| Abstract | The sixth of seven modules on team teaching, this document deals with evaluation. The major objectives are to cause teachers to understand the importance of emphasizing individual progress in evaluating and reporting children's continuous progress, the value of a system which accurately reflects a child's progress in relation to other children and in terms of his own abilities, the inadequacies of traditional methods of evaluation, the advantages of communication with parents, and the methods of evaluating the team teaching program. The study material includes 1) a review of selected literature; 2) individual and group activity concerning views on reporting and grading; 3) four articles: "Refresher Course in Conferences,""Conferences Regarding Reports of Progress" by Virginia Bailard and Ruth Strang, "Helpful Hints for Conducting Parent-Teacher Conferences," and "Evaluation" by Delbert M. Lobb; 4) group role-playing activities for studying parent-teacher conferences; 5) individual and group activities for selecting and evaluating report cards; and 6) mastery tests for the study material.
