Abstract | This project report outlines the specifications for the various aspects of the Cubberly-Lockheed Instructional System, a pilot secondary science learning system specifically for the earth/life sciences. Part I of the report presents a discussion of the general specifications for the Phase II System which emphasizes individualized instruction. Part II, Carrel Design and Performance Requirements, contains considerable data which led to the development of Carrel design specifications. Room design is discussed in Part III. Part IV considers instructional package specifications. In this part of the report instructional objectives are outlined, the testing program is discussed, and sections are devoted to teacher and student instructional responsibilities. Instructional media are discussed in Part V, and evaluation and personnel specifications are detailed in Parts VI and VII respectively. This work was prepared under ESEA Title III contract. (BC) |
