AbstractA review of community trends precedes a description of the building program for this high school facility. Requirements were oriented toward--(1) serving the needs of a comprehensive program, (2) use of new educational techniques and aids, and (3) economic planning. The centralized core plan radiates about an administrative complex which includes--(1) teacher work spaces, (2) conference rooms, and (3) counseling and health centers. Located below this complex is the instructional materials center in which electronic aids are available to students. The nerve center of the central communications system is located in this student center. Surrounding the core are flexible classroom clusters each served by a sub-instructional materials center. Schematic designs of the vocational-technical program and the theater, as well as general environmental criteria, are presented. Diagrams, sketches, plans, and general architectural data are included. (MH)
