Abstract	Esta tesis doctoral se centra en el valor educativo de la participación social juvenil. Considerando la investigación como un instrumento de cambio y transmisión cultural partimos de la necesidad de indagar en nuevos modelos de educación no formal con jóvenes. En ella se analizan las claves que pueden hacer que el trabajo con jóvenes, en una Casa de Juventud, se convierta en una herramienta de transformación social. El estudio se lleva a cabo en la Casa de Joventut La Maranya (Benicàssim, España) mediante una Etnografía militante. La producción y construcción de la información se realiza a partir de aproximaciones observacionales, participativas y biográfico-narrativas. Los resultados aparecen mediante un relato biográfico cruzado de la asociación en el que se observan los elementos estructurales y de vida que permiten que Maranya sea considerada agente educativo de cambio en su territorio, permitiendo reelaborar nuevos modelos de asociacionismo juvenil con las jóvenes, así como reformular las políticas juveniles actuales. ; This doctoral thesis focused on the educational value of social youth partipation. We consider investigation as a tool of change and cultural transmission. We see the need to investigate new models of non-formal education with young people. Because of these reasons, we will analyze the key factors that can make work with young people in a Youth Club turn into a social transformation tool as an educational agent of change in the territory. The investigation is carried out in the Casa de Joventut La Maranya in Benicàssim (Spain) and has been located in the principles of activist ethnography. The production and construction of information is based on observational, participatory and biographical-narrative approaches. The results are presented by a life history of the association and tell us about fomal and no formal elements that make Maranya an educational agent of change. This have allowed to re-work of new models of youth association with young people as well as reformulating current youth policies.
