Abstract | Cox's Bazar is currently one of the poorest districts in Bangladesh, the situation has been exasperated by the current Rohingya refugee crisis which has highlighted the need to promote inclusive growth in the district. Therefore, the aim of the paper is to assess key potential growth sectors for Cox's Bazar. To achieve this, the report carried out, under significant data and informational constraints, a mixture of economic modelling, secondary data analysis and key stakeholder discussions to achieve these aims. |
