Abstract | The right to education, under principles of quality and equal opportunities, has had an important emphasis on educational policies in Colombia; However, there is an important group of people who are in conditions of educational disadvantage, who are also experiencing a significant increase in social exclusion, since most do not have the skills to respond to a society that increasingly demands the use of technology the information and the comunication. This mixed-focus research focuses on understanding what it means for them to access and participate in digital environments, and in turn to know the impact of a facilitating model for the acquisition of digital skills. The results point to the understanding of innovative alternatives from a critical sense of participation and recognition to respond to the communicative, social and educational needs of these people. |
