Abstract	People with disabilities are among the groups most afected by humanitarian emergencies such as refugee movements. They are considered particularly vulnerable; just like women or children. But how do their living situations look in practice? This article shows what the situation of refugees with disabilities in Germany is like. It looks at data collection on the topic; their health and primary care situation; as well as other areas of participation; such as education; work or living in the community. With a look at the state of research and reports from the field; this article therefore provides an insight into how Germany is positioned with regard to refugee persons with disabilities and what is needed to ensure that a human rights approach; i.e. one based on international human rights; is consistently pursued in dealing with refugee persons with disabilities in Germany.
