Abstract	"Kristin Daniels unterscheidet drei Modelle des Einsatzes von Flipped Professional Development in der Hochschuldidaktik. [Flipped Faculty Meetings, Flipped Workshops und das Flipped Professional Coaching. (Daniels, 2013)] Basierend auf dieser Kategorisierung lassen sich Flipped Modelle für einzelne Lehrveranstaltungen, Workshops und Veranstaltungsreihen sowie für prozessorientierte Begleitung von Lehrer/innen und Teams unterscheiden." Im Rahmen des KidZ Wien Projekts, das von der PH Wien begleitet wurde, wurde das Modell des Flipped Professional Coaching eingesetzt und mit dem Modell der Professionellen Lerngemeinschaften kombiniert. Flipped Professional Coaching is one of three models of FlippedPD or Flipped Professional Developments (Daniels, 2013) in the field of teacher education. It can be applied in various educational settings and is now used by the University of Teacher Education Vienna (PH Wien) in context of the nationwide Austrian KidZ project ("Klassenzimmer der Zukunft", engl, "classroom of the future"). KidZ is an innovative educational project, [...] which aims to make learning with ICT visible and part of regular school life. For the use in the KidZ context, the model of Flipped Professional Coaching was adapted by PH Wien and combined with the model of PLC or Professional Learning Communities (Hord 1997). This paper describes the objectives of both models and the way they complement each other. On the one hand, Flipped Professional Coaching relies on Professional Learning Communities as they offer communication structures and teams, which are essential for working in a flipped way. On the other hand, Professional Learning Communities may profit from Flipped Professional Coaching as well as it guarantees a special framework and provides special structures to online or face-to-face meetings and improves ongoing processes.
