| Abstract | Why education is important, because now a days education is must in every angle. Especially to get a job basic thing is knowledge. So Adult education is northing but it is a practices in which the adult of a community are engaged to learning activity to develop new skills, and knowledge or even personality. It is a platform where adult could use years of experience and knowledge to learn new skills for better future. Adult education also include classes for those adults who never had a chance to go to school but they are interested for study and growth. The Karnataka government was provided many benefit to get Adult literacy achieving 100% functional literacy within a decade should become the stated goal of state government. So the Education institution particularly residential school, colleges and universities in rural areas, must be given the mandate to help ensure 100% literacy in the state by engaging with the community. So the government could provides education for student. The large scale deployment of technology in education institution can provide us with a particular opportunity to avoid illiteracy in the state. Karnataka literacy rate is 75.6%. Adult Education is very much important for the development of a Nation as it could seriously improve the productivity and social structure of a nation. It provides opportunities of personal growth, employment, socialization resulting in the nation's economical growth. Adult Education also leads to high primary enrollments, as educated parents are more inclined to make their children educated. So in very aspect education is important thing. |
