Abstract | Students enter school with a vast range of differences, which together determine how well and how fast they will learn at school. School systems around the world are thus faced with the challenge of how to organise learning for large numbers of students while at the same time responding to the diverse needs of each one of them. This is about ensuring that each student receives an optimal learning experience, while also tackling well-documented educational inequalities. 'Adaptive teaching' is a promising approach to address the challenge of student heterogenity in the classroom. (DIPF/Orig.). |
