Abstract	The article gives an account of the self-assessment process for the purposes of renewal of the High Quality Certificate carried out in 2011 as a research activity in the Inter-American School of Librarianship at the University of Antioquia, which might serve as a benchmark for other institutions involved in similar activities. El artículo da cuenta del proceso de Autoevaluación (2011), con fines de renovación de la Acreditación de Alta Calidad, que se desarrolló en la Escuela Interamericana de Bibliotecología de la Universidad de Antioquia, como una dinámica de orden investigativo, que pueda servir como referente a experiencias similares.
