Abstract	"In jüngerer Zeit haben in den Sozial- und Erziehungswissenschaften im Zuge der ikonischen Wendung bildliche Repräsentationen sozialer Wirklichkeit als Quelle von Erkenntnis zunehmend an Bedeutung gewonnen. Über ikonische Prozesse, so die zentrale Annahme, werden soziale Wahrnehmungs- und Handlungsprozesse zentral konstituiert. Sich der bildhaften Dimension dieser sozialen Prozesse empirisch zu nähern, darum soll es im folgenden Beitrag gehen. Genauer geht es um bildhafte Ordnungen, die sich in Bildern 'des' Sozialen vergegenständlichen: auf Ab-, Denk- und Erfahrungsbildebene. Anhand der übergeordneten Frage nach der Bildhaftigkeit des Pädagogischen sollen Bilder 'des' Sozialen mit Hilfe der dokumentarischen Methode untersucht werden. Nach einigen grundlagentheoretischen Vorbemerkungen und methodisch-methodologischen Ausführungen zur Rekonstruktion bildhafter Ordnungen werden anhand einer exemplarischen Analyse Aspekte bildhafter Ordnungen in Weiterbildungskontexten dargelegt. Schließlich wird resümierend auf die Frage danach eingegangen, was sich in bildhaften Ordnungen zeigt, die als pädagogische begriffen werden." (Autorenreferat). "In the social and educational sciences, pictorial representations of social reality have increasingly gained in importance as a source of scientific knowledge in the course of the iconic turn in the recent past. Pursuant to the central assumption, social perceptions and actions are constituted centrally via iconic processes. The following article focuses on the empirical reconstruction of the pictorial/ iconic dimension of these social processes. More specifically, it is about iconic structures, which are objectified in images of 'the' social: on the levels of the experience images, mental images and images. Based upon the superordinate question of the 'pictorial of the pedagogical', 'the images of the social' shall be investigated in the following by means of the documentary method. After some preliminary remarks on basic theoretical assumptions and methodical-methodological expositions with regard to the reconstruction of pictorial order, aspects of pictorial dimension in contexts of further education will be explained on the basis of an exemplary analysis. Finally, the question of what is shown in iconic systems that are conceived as educational ones shall be discussed in summary." (author's abstract).
