Abstract | [The author] discusses two case studies exploring learners at an Australian high school and their use of digital technologies and multimodal skills. Based on a longitudinal study conducted by Griffith University between 2003 and 2008, the case study data suggests significant variation in technological skills and abilities, as well as traditional skills, among learners.
