Abstract | In diesem Beitrag werden die zentralen Prämissen und Resultate des zweiten thematischen Schwerpunkts des Zwölften Kinder- und Jugendberichts dargestellt, der sich mit den Bildungsangeboten und -leistungen im Kindes- und Jugendalter beschäftigt hat. Genauer gesagt werden zunächst die spezifischen Problemstellungen dieses Berichtsteils thematisiert, der nicht nur die aktuelle Lage der Kindheit und Jugend sowie die Leistungen der Jugendhilfe analysiert, sondern auch zum aktuellen Ausbau ganztägiger Bildungsangebote Stellung nehmen sollte. Anschließend werden die Bildungsprozesse im individuellen Lebenslauf von Heranwachsenden im Schulalter rekonstruiert und die Angebote und Leistungen der verschiedenen Bildungsorte und Lernwelten für diese Altersgruppe untersucht. Abschließend werden einige Empfehlungen der Kommission zum Ausbau ganztägiger Bildungs-, Erziehungs- und Betreuungsangebote dargestellt und die Frage diskutiert, welche Konsequenzen die Leitideen und Ergebnisse des Zwölften Kinder- und Jugendberichts für die Disziplin Erziehungswissenschaft haben. (DIPF/Orig.). In this paper, the central premises and results of the second thematic focus of the German government's twelfth children and youth report will be presented. This section of the report centered on education provisions and activities for children and youth. In particular, the specific issue of this section was, besides an analysis of the current situation regarding children and youth and the provision of support for this group, a critical analysis of the current extension of educational provision through schools open all day. Following this, the educational processes in the individual daily life of young people of school age will be reconstructed and the provisions of the different educational institutions and places of learning for this age group will be investigated. In conclusion, some recommendations of the commission on the extension of education and supervision provisions will be presented and the consequences of the principles and results of the twelfth children and youth report for the discipline education science will be discussed.
