Abstract	"The statistical publication provides essential annual statistics on many spheres, such as environment, education, culture, research and development, health, justice, household living niveau, social protection, labour market, gross domestic product, finance, foreign and internal trade, prices, agriculture, industry, transport, tourism, information technology, etc. The emphasis has been laid on the year 2004 (in the case of some economic statistics on 2003), which has been discussed in comparison with the previous years. Each chapter includes an overview, tables and diagrams, definitions of terms used, a short description of the methodology and a list of recommended publications. Social and economic overview, as well as thematic maps are provided at the beginning of the publication. A separate chapter presents comparable statistics mainly on European countries. At the end of the yearbook the glossary of statistical terms and definitions as well as the index has been included. Addressed to a wide range of users." Die Untersuchung enthält quantitative Daten.
