Abstract	The discussion and the focus of the contributions in this book ...reflect upon the following questions: What strategies does science education research have to follow in order to effectively help teaching and learning science? How can the diverse and valuable results from different fields of science education research be integrated into teaching practices most effectively and how can this value be documented? By which different strategies can recommendations driven by research be implemented into sustainable practice? What reasons exist for the low impact of science education research upon changes in teaching practices and how can these deficits be countered? What are effective ways to make sustainable use of science education research in science teacher training (pre- and in-service)? ...
