Abstract | Educational inspection is a tool favoured by the state to evaluate schools and teachers. Through a careful study of the different inspection systems this article shows that the opinions of the decision maker s about the part the State should play have a large influence on the way educational inspection is organised. Four distinct models of inspection stand out, their give distinct answers to three supporting or controlling)? What is the respective weight of the main tools used for guidance and for evaluation (examination s, self- evaluation, inspection)? Who are school and teachers liable to in priority (the ministry, the colleagues, the public)? (DIPF/orig.). |
