Abstract | School and social success are often related to writing mastery. In a culture giving precedence to writing it, is necessary to be able to use efficently the tools created by this culture. Few investigations focused on the development of advanced writing skills. The present study is an approach of this development from the consideration of 'rough copy' as a psychological instrument. Results show that this development is not linear: a major reorientation occurs at the end of compulsory schooling. This important step is related to an 'advanced mastery' of writing which becomes not only a communication tool but also a tool for thinking and language development. (DIPF/orig.) |
