Abstract | This article presents the preliminary findings from an exploratory study carried out by the author and a colleague, Viv Moriarty, in the early part of 1999. The principle objective was to explore the responses of Early Years teachers to current curriculum change in England and Finnland. It is hoped that the exploratory study will initiate a discussion of the issues raised in this paper and lead to further research. Other aspects of the research were reported at the conference of the British Educational Research Association held at the University of Sussex in September 1999. (DIPF/orig.). |
