Abstract	The report reviews a number of questions on issues of central importance which were provided in a "checklist for authors", elaborated by the Academic Cooperation Association (ACA) on the project "Internationalisation in European Non-University Higher Education". The report is divided into two parts. Part I focuses on the general aspects of non-university higher education in Norway. 1) Non- university institutions. 2) Typical subject areas. 3) Structure of courses and degrees. 4) Finance. 5) Governance and management. 6) Structures. 7) Research. 8) Regional links. 9) Boundaries between university and non-university higher education institutions. Part II gives more specific information on Hogskolen based on Agder College (AC) which was established in 1994 through the merger of six previously independent colleges. 1) Introduction. 2) Internationalisation - some AC facts. 3) Adger college and the universities - a structural comparison. 4) Regional development and internationalisation - a synergy effect? 5) Cooperation with business and industry. 6) Applied teaching/research and internationalisation a - synergy effect? 7) Foreign language qualifications. 8) Is size important? 9) Continuing education and lifelong learning. 10) Internationalisation in a strategic perspective.
