Abstract	The first part of the report is a reflection on the major policy issues faced by the Polish VET (vocational education and training) system in the changing economy. It examines the general context through an analysis of the most significant recent changes from a socio- economic point of view, a comparison of the former and the present structures of the VET system, and a general outline of its management, its funding and its responsiveness to labour-market requirements. The second part focuses on schools, providing an analysis of management responsibilities, funding problems, and the adapting skills to labour-market demands, as seen from their perspective.... The third part is centred on examples of joint school- and-enterprise initiatives with an emphasis on the latter's involvement in training. (DIPF/orig.).
