| Abstract | This article tries to include the sustainable human development (which should be aspired) in the context of globalization acting in the different social problems that minorities all over the world have at the moment, such as poverty and a poor environmental context (as the accumulation of housing with inadequate material, presence of germs due to the lack of basic infrastructure and of services of drinkable water, drain and gathering of garbage and others). All this demonstrates that the poorest suffer a reduction of "quality of life". For changing these conditions of life it is necessary to change the passive attitude of these persons into a positive attitude to solve the problems of the society, especially the environmental ones, taking conscience, through environmental education, of the environment that surrounds them.
