| Abstract | This survey was conducted to study the problem of drop-out in the municipal schools, Baroda. One hundred drop-outs, fifty parents and twenty-five teachers were taken as sample for the study. Interview schedule was used for data collection. Standard of drop-out, sex, size of the family, religion, monthly income of the family, presence of the parents and number of earning members were the variables for study. The respondents, parents and teachers were of the view that the teachers should teach with interest and should pay individual attention to the students so that they were motivated to attend school.
