Abstract | A one-hour two-way live videoconference between students in a German culture course at Miami University and students of international communication at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich in November 1995 served as a transatlantic class on the topic "Das Bild von Deutschland in den amerikanischen Medien, das Bild von den U. S. A. in den detuschen Medien." One result was a widening of the course focus so that the participants experienced themselves as not only subjects, but also objects, of academic inquiry. (Verlag). |
