Abstract | In fact, the main fear (as far as French parents are concerned) is that young people will not be able to attain their proper "level" in Physics, Biology, etc., if these subjects are taught in English. The author shows how unfounded such fears are and explains how it is possible to respect the programmes and operate from an international perspective while remaining within the standard budgetary limits of a secondary school.
