Abstract | The purpose of this study is to emphasise the fact that learning by problematisation and learning by discovery suppose essentially the conscious and active assimilation of the new knowledge, through the student's personal effort. Considering the fact that both problematisation and discovery have as a problem the starting point, the connection between them and the aspects which discriminate between them are presented.
