Abstract	Manitoba's curriculum guide for German 100, 200, and 300 is designed to (1) make teachers of these courses aware of the official policy concerning the nature, goals, and objectives of the courses and approved teaching materials, and (2) provide instructional guidelines. The guide provides information about three sets of teaching materials from which teachers can make selections appropriate to their students' needs and abilities. These include: "Deutsch 2000 Band 1 and Band 2"; "Grundkurs Deutsch" and "Aufbaukurs Deutsch"; and "Vorwaerts International K3A, K3B, K4A, and K4B". Introductory information includes a statement of philosphy, an outline of program goals and objectives, a program overview, notes on student evaluation and special student needs, and suggestions for instructional time allotment. The approved texts are listed and described. Lists of teacher's reference materials and supplementary materials are also supplied. The final section outlines the grammatical concepts approved for instruction at the junior and senior high school levels.
