Abstract | In this article, Louise Taylor responds to commentaries on her article, "Seeking Equality of Educational Outcomes for Black Students: A Personal Account" (EJ1316951), offering her response and further reflections as she continues her efforts towards anti-racist practice. She begins her response by noting that the scale of the challenge to improve the experiences and educational outcomes for Black students is undoubtedly large, but she believes that it is achievable if everyone takes responsibility for educating themselves about racism and taking necessary steps to overcome it. She goes on to reply to the following commentaries: (1) Rachel Boyle's "A Response to Taylor" (EJ1317331); (2) Sarah Gillborn and David Gillborn's "Racism, Psychology and Higher Education: A Response to 'Seeking Equality of Educational Outcomes for Black Students: A Personal Account' by Louise Taylor" (EJ1317172); (3) Stephen Minton's "A Response to Dr. Louise Taylor's 'Seeking Equality of Educational Outcomes for Black Students: A Personal Account'" (EJ1316954); (4) Marlon Moncrieffe's "'And the Creed and the Colour and the Name Won't Matter…' A Response to Dr. Louise Taylor" (EJ1317077); (5) Festus Obiakor's "Seeking Equality of Educational Outcomes for Black Students: Response to Dr Louise Taylor" (EJ1317632); and (6) Stuart Whigham and Jason Arday's "A Response to 'Seeking Equality of Educational Outcomes for Black Students: A Personal Account' -- A Sociological Perspective" (EJ1317131).
