Abstract	This book presents activities to keep K-6 students moving in a variety of ways as they learn. The movement experiences are planned around key curriculum concepts in movement and music as well as in academic curriculum areas. The experiences develop students' basic timing, language abilities, vocabulary, concentration, planning skills, and capabilities for cooperative decision making and leadership. For each activity, the book includes: suggested level, key experiences in movement and music, curriculum concepts, materials needed, steps for doing each part of the activity, questions for extending children's understanding, and extension ideas for creative variations. Some of the 85 activities include: "Creativity with Scarves"; "Explore That Sound"; "Low Or High"; "Musical Houses";"Names in Beat"; "Traveling Pathways between Objects"; "Attributes of Shapes"; "Listening and Identifying"; Understanding Spatial Concepts"; "We Keep the Beat Together"; "Action Words"; "Different Shape-Different Movement"; "Combining Words"; Echo Sequence"; "Pushing Up"; Stop and Balance"; "Creating Designs"; "Spelling Song"; "Mirroring"; "Plate Dancing"; "Plate Aerobics"; Same and Different"; "Greater or Lesser Numbers"; "Human Clock"; Aerobic Integration"; "Hand-Jives"; "Identifying Angles"; "Machines that Work"; and "Timing Relationships."
