Abstract | Nearly 250,000 students of color received associate degrees in academic year 2008-09. This represents 30 percent of all associate degree recipients, which is just slightly below the 33 percent representation of these racial/ethnic groups in the general U.S. population. In this edition of the Top 100 series, researchers highlight the institutions that are contributing most to these impressive statistics, overall, as well as in various fields of study. In this edition, they also include the top producers of nursing degrees awarded to minorities. (ERIC). |
