Abstract | This study evaluated the effectiveness of a conservation education program in raising awareness among school students about the importance of mangrove ecosystems in Setiu Wetlands. About seventy-four upper secondary students were involved in a survey that was conducted with an educational workshop. The workshop focused on the benefits, threats, conservation, and importance ofmangrove ecosystem services, such as regulating, provisioning, supporting, and cultural services. The respondents were found to be unfamiliar with the benefits offered by cultural services, while regulation, provision, and support services were found to be significant. (As Provided). |
