Abstract"Pacific Islanders: Wayfinding in Higher Education" examines Pacific Islander (PI) students' experiences in higher education. The purpose of this study was to understand factors enabling PI student success with completing their bachelor's degree in higher education. The study also sought to understand the barriers PI students' face that contribute to premature departure from higher education, which consequently leads them to not complete their degree. An examination of PI students' experiences, in this realm, calls for a mixed research method using descriptive and exploratory methods. Mixed methods provide a multifaceted approach drawing on qualitative and quantitative data to answer the research questions. Additionally, following the multiple-article path, three unique studies were coordinated. The first study used qualitative methods utilizing nominal group techniques to explore the barriers and supports PI students experience in higher education. In the second study, PI student experiences in higher education were conceptualized through survey methods. Surveys queried how PI students' surroundings were wayfinding pathways (finding natural directions) and led to the completion of a bachelor's degree. This study further reviewed barriers associated with premature departure from college. The third study utilized the same method and question set as the second study but focused on parents and caregivers of PI students.
