Abstract	This study used a non-experimental design to examine whether job satisfaction, rumination, age and years of experience predict burnout among human service workers serving high-risk populations. The study also used a stepwise regression to assess whether job satisfaction, rumination, age, or years of experience predict burnout equally. Burnout was the outcome variable and job satisfaction, rumination, age, and years of experience were the predictor variables. The study found that job satisfaction has the strongest predictive effect of all the variables. Job satisfaction is also the only variable that significantly predicts burnout.
