Abstract	College life strategies must be reassessed in light of the new generational culture taking hold with the arrival in college campuses of "Millennials" Generation students (Strauss & Howe 2000). This study explored college professional counselors' "Millennials" Generation knowledge, their techniques and strategies in handling this generation's needs and expectations, and how they may assist these students in developing effective leadership skills. This study's theoretical framework includes Howe and Strauss' (2000; 2003) tenets; Carl Rogers' constructs (1995); Arthur Chickering (1969), Uri Brofenbrenner (1979), Chickering and Linda Reisser (1993) and HERI's sample. The investigation was conducted with the cualitative paradigm method. Data gathering strategies were focus groups, semi-structured interviews and reflexive diaries. Wolcott's model (1994) guided qualitative data analysis in its main components: description, analysis and interpretation. Findings reflected that college professional counselors command a limited knowledge of the characteristics of "Millennials" students. Hence, colleges must develop strategies to handle the changes brought about by the new millennium, their students' distinct qualities, interests and needs. The study's recommendations and conclusions include a proposal to develop a model to develop leadership skills among "Millennials" generation college students.
