AbstractHampton Institute has developed an educational technique in several lines which is of interest especially to those institutions that are still trying to find their way under difficulties and that for lack of vision as well as lack of support are unable to reach the high ideals of training which have resulted from the careful working out of the Hampton program. In ceasing its relationship to the Federal Government, Hampton depends upon its own resources and those of its friends. Nevertheless, Hampton, in view of the long-continued Federal support, can give to the general public the benefit of a statement of her stewardship and by doing so be of great assistance to other institutions with similar problems in industrial and vocational education. The contributions provided in this bulletin aim to give briefly the growth and development of the educational practices which have led to the present program.
