Abstract	This document presents the agreement between Rider College (New Jersey) and the Rider College Chapter of the American Association of University Professors for 1988 through 1991. It covers the following 35 articles: recognition of unit; non-discrimination; affirmative action; academic freedom; Association privileges; definition of ranks; appointments; promotion and tenure; dismissal and suspension; annual reappointment and non-reappointment of non-tenured bargaining unit members; department chairpersons; academic governance; personnel files; lay-off; professional athletic staff; part-time faculty; evaluation; past practices; management rights; agency rights; grievance and arbitration procedure; no strike, no lockout; general work conditions; open classroom; workload; outside employment; research and enrichment; patent policy; sick leave; compensation and employee benefits; salary adjustment; retirement age and retirement benefits; separability; length of contract, future negotiations; and enforceability.
