| Abstract | This study investigated the effects of data presentation and an educator's level in the organizational hierarchy on the acceptance of educational program evaluation findings. Educational administrators, principals, teachers, and evaluators (n=210) read and rated a simulated evaluation report on a pilot computer literacy program. Four types of presentations were used: no data; percentage data; percentage and graphic data; and percentage graphic, and statistical inference data. Subjects rated the report, the fictitious evaluator, and the level of their agreement with four report recommendations. Responses were analyzed by multivariate analysis of variance and a post hoc discriminant functioning analysis. Results indicated: (1) the method of data presentation had no effect on the subjects' responses; (2) there was a statistically significant effect related to a subject's organizational position; and (3) the interaction between the presentation method and position variables was statistically significant.
