| Abstract | Contained in the report are listings of commercial instructional materials (and sources) reported to be effective by Indiana special education teachers. Presented in the front matter are a sample evaluation form and a brief description of the TIME (Teacher Initiated Materials Evaluation) Project. The contents are separated into sections by exceptionality and, when appropriate, by level or curriculum area. The number of times each material was recommended is noted. Materials are listed for the following categories: preschool handicapped; educable mentally retarded (primary, intermediate, junior high, senior high,); trainable mentally retarded (primary, intermediate, junior, and senior high); severely and profoundly retarded; speech, hearing, and language; learning disabled; emotionally disturbed; deaf (preschool, primary, intermediate, junior, and senior high); blind; multiply handicapped; and physically handicapped.
