Abstract | With President Obama's goal to have one million electric vehicles (EV) on the road by 2015, the electric vehicle technician should have a promising and busy future. "The job force in the car industry is ramping up for a revitalized green car industry," according to Greencareersguide.com. An electric vehicle technician will safely troubleshoot and repair electric vehicles. Technician duties include: installing basic EV components, understanding basic systems and operating standards, troubleshooting high voltage system problems and installation concerns, and performing routine maintenance.
