Abstract | This document records testimony from a hearing before the Committee on Education and Labor that was held to discuss the cost of non-completion and improving student outcomes in higher education. Member statements were presented by: (1) Honorable Susan A. Davis, Chairwoman, Subcommittee on Higher Education and Workforce Investment; and (2) Honorable Lloyd Smucker, Ranking Member, Subcommittee on Higher Education and Workforce Investment. Witness statements were presented by: (1) Ms. Susan Dynarski, Professor, University of Michigan; (2) Dr. M. David Rudd, President and Distinguished University Professor of Psychology, University of Memphis; (3) Dr. Pam Y. Eddinger, President, Bunker Hill Community College; and (4) Mr. Kyle Ethelbah, Director of Federal Trio Programs, University of Utah.
