Abstract | This manuscript was prepared after the author spent a year in Germany studying the problems of vocational education with special reference to the application of German methods in American schools. The author discusses in a clear and concise manner four interesting and important problems in vocational education in Germany, about which there is need of information in the United States. They are: (1) Continuation schools for boys in unskilled occupations in Berlin; (2) Continuation schools for girls and women in Berlin; (3) The training of industrial continuation-school teachers in Prussia; and (4) Dual control in industrial education in Prussia.
