Abstract | This bibliography, along with other bibliographies developed by the Center for the Study of Technology in Counseling and Career Development, is intended to assist practitioners, researchers, policy makers, and system developers in identifying and locating sources of information on the design and use of computer-assisted career guidance (CACG) systems. The ultimate aim of this effort is to improve the availability and quality of career and educational services to children, adolescents, and adults. This Choices bibliography contains references to several past and present versions of Choices. The bibliography is organized into five sections. The Systems section identifies current versions of Choices. The Theoretical and Research Foundations section includes the theory and research that has guided the development of Choices. The Evaluation and Research Reports section includes investigations of the impact of Choices in meeting the needs of various populations. The Program Descriptions section includes reports of the use of Choices within various organizations. The Support Materials section includes print-based and video-based materials for professionals and individual users that are designed to enhance the effectiveness of Choices. Citations are organized alphabetically by author in each section. A total of 63 citations are included. (Author/NB) |
