Abstract | This manual has been prepared as a supplement to the final report (CE 018 453) on the Systemwide Career Education Cluster-Based Articulated Model Program, SCECAMP. An introduction provides an overview of the SCECAMP project and the rationale for this replication manual. The first of the three major sections contained in this document summarizes the background, definitions, goals, and objectives of SCECAMP. Section 2 describes the developmental nature of career education based on Donald Super's theory. Section 3, which comprises the major portion of this manual, presents the design for replication in the following seven stages: (1) site selection and development, (2) staff development and training, (3) curriculum planning, (4) guidance and support services, (5) community resources, (6) dissemination, and (7) evaluation. The goals, implementation strategies, and expected outcomes are presented for each of the seven processes. Also included for each process are related materials and a checklist. (BM) |
