Abstract	Designed for use with unit two of the bilingual language arts program for grade one, this supplement and ditto packet contains visual aids and materials for seatwork by students or for class activities. A teacher's guide corresponding to this unit, which consists of units five through eight, gives the timetable for when these materials are to be used. Illustrations and worksheets in the revised supplement are to help the teacher carry out learning activities in oral language development, language-experience reading, structured reading, and comprehension and interpretation skills. New letters, words, and structures are introduced in the materials through activities focusing on the basic theme of the family. All language appearing on materials to be used in the classroom are in Spanish, with introductions to the supplement and ditto packet in both Spanish and English. These supplementary teaching materials include pictures to illustrate stories (some for use on flannel boards), new words, letters, student worksheets, and visuals for classroom discussion. In general, worksheets for individual pupils are to be presented under supervision rather than as independent tasks. (RS)
