Abstract | The article analyzes the results of the research of the problems of civil-patriotic education of physical culture university students. Objective of the work, carried out in the university of physical culture, was to create an educational system of civil-patriotic education of students with a view of formation of patriotism and civicism, law-obedience and responsibility, self-reliance and initiative, devotion to the Motherland and readiness to fulfill their constitutional obligations. Presented is analysis of the problems related to formation of patriotism and civicism among students. Allocated are the features of the multilevel system of civil-patriotic education in Ural State University of Physical Culture, which covers all education levels, including college, Bachelor's, Master's and post-graduate courses. The authors demonstrate succession of forms and methods of organization of academic and extracurricular educational activities. Survey of students revealed patriotic values and ideals, including in the context of common religious values and values of physical culture and sport. It is shown that the majority of students give priority to humanistic value orientations, constructive thinking, positive ideals and legitimate patterns of behavior. Students share the common values inherent in the world's leading religions. They are characterized by the tolerant, benevolent attitude towards representatives of other nationalities, cultures and religions. (Autor). |
