Abstract | This article deals with recent developments in teacher education in Denmark as the Danish tradition of decentralization and "new managerialism", decentralization and evaluation, the professional council and the reform of teacher education and developments in in- service training in teacher education. Finally it is discussed whether Denmark is to be considered as a "leading country" in the field of education. (DIPF/Kr.). |
