Abstract | The lack of information on the extent and nature of drug use and abuse among minority youth has limited the development of culturally relevant and effective interventions for this group. These papers present research findings and information about research methodology directed at this target group. Papers include: (1) "Integrating Mainstream and Subcultural Explanations of Drug Use among Puerto Rican Youth" (Orlando Rodriguez, et al.); (2) "Orthogonal Cultural Identification: Theoretical Links between Cultural Identification and Substance Use" (E.
