AbstractThis report describes activities and presents products of a project to provide vocational guidance, placement, and follow-up services to four high schools in Greene County, Tennessee. The narrative reviews the project design and objectives and discusses the audience, personnel and duties, product development, dissemination activities, project impact, recommendations and conclusions, and transportability. The section on dissemination activities contains materials from counselor workshops, the Needs Assessment Survey of employment demands and significant results, information on sex stereotyping distributed to all counselors and vocational teachers, sample placement and followup forms, and sample news releases. Enclosures, amounting to over one-half of the report, include (1) Student/Teacher Handbook; (2) Training Sponsor Handbook (information for employer of cooperative education students); (3) program brochure; (4) final evaluation report; (5) Greene County Guide Book for Guidance, Placement, and Follow Up Program; (6) Business-Industry Job Placement Survey (a guide to prospective job placement and reference to names of managers); (7) Interim Evaluation; and (8) Final Evaluation Report.
