Abstract | Video-based cases are often used in teacher training in order to foster (pre-service) teachers' professional development. This study compares three different groups of pre-service teachers' concerning their professional vision of learning support: an intervention with text-based case-analyses, an intervention with text- and video-based case-analyses and a control group without intervention. Additionally, both interventions are compared regarding pre-service teachers' evaluation of motivational aspects. First results indicate that the additional use of videos seems to be beneficial in order to foster a topic-based professional vision. (Orig.). |
