(DIPF/Orig.). A tripartite didactic concept to advance the technical creativity of pupils in secondary school through after-school-clubs is presented: In fifth grade, pupils can join after-school-clubs for natural scientists in which scientific problem solving and cooperative working is introduced to the participants through the work on "egg races" (module 1). The possibility to take part in after-school-clubs to "innovate and explore" in which so called "chindogus" (strange tools) are examined and invented is offered to pupils of sixth and seventh grade (module 2). As of seventh grade, pupils can attend after-school-clubs which prepare pupils to participate in science fairs like "Jugend forscht" (module 3). For the first module, evaluation results of an empirical study (N = 67) are presented. The effectiveness of the approach with regard to the promotion of the ability to work cooperatively is confirmed. Furthermore, the high initial motivation of the participants does not decline during the training. (DIPF/Orig.). |
